Riassunto

Nel 1872, Mr. Phileas Phogg, un severo gentleman britannico accetta la sfida lanciata dai suoi compagni al club dei Reforms per dimostrare che si può fare il giro del mondo in 80 giorni. Decide di viaggiare con il suo cameriere, Jean Passepartout, un francese. Allo stesso tempo, il detective Fix sta dando la caccia a un rapinatore di banche. Potrebbe essere una coincidenza che il signor Phogg abbia deciso di lasciare il paese nello stesso momento? Detective Fix non la pensa così! Attraverso l'Europa, l'India con le sue ferrovie incompiute e gli elefanti, la Cina e il suo commercio di oppio, gli Stati Uniti e i suoi disordini politici, i due avventurieri hanno un programma serrato per dimostrare che l'alta società britannica si sbaglia, e il detective Fix, ben determinato a trovare il suo ladro. Faranno in tempo?
