Summary

In 1872, Mr. Phileas Phogg, a stern British gentlemen accepts the challenge thrown by his companions at the Reforms' club to prove that one can go around around the world in 80 days. He decides to travel with his valet, Jean Passepartout, a frenchman. At the same time, Detective Fix is hunting down a bank robber. Could it be a coincindence that Mr. Phogg decided to leave the country at the exact same time? Detective Fix doesn't think so! Through Europe, India with its unfinished railways and elephant rides, China and its Opium trade, the USA and its political turmoil, the two adventurers are on a tight schedule to prove the British high society wrong, and Detective Fix, well determined to find his thief. Will they make it on time?
