The hare and the tortoise

Aesop’s Fables

It is spring.
A hare is outside eating his carrot.
He sees a tortoise walking slowly.
The hare laughs and tells her.
You are slower than a snail.
The tortoise stops and replies.
Do you want to race me?
The hare laughs really hard and he falls down.
The tortoise seems serious.
So, the hare accepts the challenge.
The fox sets the starting and ending points.
The next morning all animals are excepting to watch the race.
The fox raises the flag and the race begins.
The tortoise starts immediately.
