One night, I hear strange noises.

I scream!

It is a nightmare.

Someone knocks on my door. Roderick.

“There is a storm!”

The wind blows strong.

I read a book out loud to calm us down.

We hear noises in the House of Usher.

Roderick hears other things.

“Someone is yelling, someone is scratching.”

Steps go up the stairs.

Then, the door to my room opens! Madeline.

They both die!

“AAAAAAAAH!” I run!

The sky is red… The moon is red…

The House of Usher is falling down…
